Privacy notice

This notice is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) to those who visit this website and to those who write to us via the contact form.

Data controller

Data processed

  • Data provided through the contact form: name, company, email address, area of interest (IT, OT or other) and the content of the message.
  • Technical data: IP address and date and time of the request, recorded when the form is submitted for security reasons and to limit abusive submissions; and the web server’s browsing logs.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to requests sent through the form, including for the purpose of assessing and preparing a proposal: Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR (consent of the data subject and pre-contractual measures taken at their request).
  • Site security and abuse prevention (anti-spam verification, limiting of repeated submissions, technical log): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Legal obligations, where applicable: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Providing the data marked as mandatory in the form is necessary in order to respond; without it the request cannot be processed.

Recipients of the data

The data are processed by authorised Cquri personnel and, to the extent strictly necessary, by suppliers acting as data processors: the hosting and email services that host the site and receive the requests and, for the anti-spam verification of the form, Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile service). The data may be disclosed to other companies of the Security Trust Group only if necessary to handle the request. The data are not disseminated.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google (for loading the site’s fonts) are based in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Data submitted through the form are kept for the time necessary to handle the request and, if a relationship results, for its duration and the statutory limitation periods. Technical logs are kept for the time strictly necessary for security checks.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before withdrawal (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (garanteprivacy.it).
